# Stores and monitoring

> A store's pages, its apps and settings, and what Glood collects from it and how often

Every Shopify store you connect has its own pages in the dashboard. Open
**Stores** under Dashboard in the left rail, then select a store. Its pages are
four tabs: **Overview**, **Changes**, **Monitoring** and **Settings**.

To connect a new store, see [Connect a Shopify store](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/dashboard/getting-started.md#connect-a-shopify-store).

## Store status

| Status | What it means | What to do |
| - | - | - |
| **Connected** | Syncing normally | Nothing |
| **Not finished** / **Draft** | The connection was started and never completed | **Resume setup** |
| **Apps only** | Glood apps are connected, Shopify credentials are not | Add them when you are ready |
| **Reconnect needed** | Shopify signed Glood out after 90 days without a sync | **Reconnect** and approve once. Your app stays installed |
| **Disconnected** | No longer connected | Connect it again |

When Glood needs a new Shopify permission, the store shows **New permissions
needed** with the full scope list. Add the scopes to your app in the Shopify dev
dashboard (**Versions → Create version → Access**, paste the whole list,
**Release**), then **Update permissions** and approve in Shopify. The store
stays connected while you do this.

## Overview

The store's plan, currency, time zone, primary domain, the domain it was
connected with, when it was connected and last synced, and the access scopes
Shopify granted.

## Changes

Everything an agent in **Act** mode changed on this store's orders: tags added
or removed, and risk assessments. Each row has a **Revert**. See
[Changes](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/agents/activity.md#changes).

## Monitoring

What Glood collects from this store on its own, and how often. Everyone who can
see the store can read this tab; changing it needs `store:write`. Save with the
save bar at the bottom of the screen.

Each collector has a switch, **How often**, and the status of its last run
(**Running**, **Succeeded**, **Failed** or **Waiting for first run**).

| Collector | What it does | On by default | How often |
| - | - | - | - |
| **Admin activity** | Reads the store's admin activity log: what staff and apps changed in products, collections, discounts and orders, and who did it | Yes, every 15 minutes | 15 or 30 minutes, 1, 3, 6 or 24 hours |
| **Theme code** | Checks the live theme's files for edits and records each one with its diff, app embeds included | Yes, every 24 hours | 1, 6 or 24 hours, or 7 days |
| **Storefront probe** | Visits your storefront in a real browser and records how fast it loads, what breaks, and whether a shopper can reach checkout | No | 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours (6 when first switched on) |

Agents use the first two to answer "what changed in the store around that time",
and Insights uses the probe for its storefront checks.

### The storefront probe

Switching the probe on confirms you own the store or are authorised to test it,
and allows Glood to visit it with an automated browser on the schedule you set.
The date you switched it on is shown under the switch.

| Setting | What it does |
| - | - |
| **Devices** | **Mobile**, **Desktop** or both. Mobile alone by default. At least one |
| **Extra pages** | Up to 5 more pages to visit, each starting with `/`, for example `/pages/size-guide`. Press Enter after each one |
| **Cart journey** | Adds a product to the cart and opens checkout. It stops at checkout and never fills it in. On by default |
| **Crawler access** | Shopify's crawler access signature, so Shopify does not slow down or block the visits |
| **Storefront password** | Only for a password protected store. The probe uses it to get past the password page |

What the probe finds appears under **Reports → Store health**.

### Crawler access

Without it, Shopify may slow down or block Glood's visits.

**1. Create a signature in Shopify**

In your Shopify admin, **Online Store → Preferences → Crawler access**.

**2. Paste the headers**

Paste them into **Crawler access**, one `Name: value` per line. Glood reads
the expiry from the signature.

**3. Save**

The field then shows **Set, expires** and the date.

Seven days before the signature expires, the Monitoring tab warns you, and the
**Crawler access expiring** insight opens. Create a new signature and paste it
in the same way.

### Password protected stores

If your storefront is behind Shopify's password page, shoppers cannot see it and
the **Password page on** insight opens. If you are still building the store, put
the password in **Storefront password** so the probe can check the pages behind
it. **Replace** and **Remove** change it later; the password is never shown
again once saved.

## Settings

### Integrations

The Glood apps connected to this store. **Add integration** lists every app
available for it, including the ones already on. From an app's row you can
**Finish setup** (approve access in your Shopify admin), **View reports**, or
**Disable** it. Disabling stops its analytics updating at once; you can turn it
back on any time.

### Reporting app

Shown only when the store runs both Glood Search and Glood.AI Personalization.
Some reports can read only one app at a time, because a shopper who used search
and saw a recommendation would otherwise be counted twice. Choose the app whose
impact those reports measure, or leave it on **Automatic (Glood Search first)**.

### Storefront events

Whether the Glood pixel is **Receiving**, **Stopped** (nothing in the last 24
hours) or **Not set up**, with **Set up** or **View setup**. See
[Set up storefront events](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/dashboard/getting-started.md#set-up-storefront-events).

### Remove the store

**Remove store**, under Danger zone, removes the store and its integrations from
the organization. Type the store's domain to confirm.
