# Skills library

> Every skill Glood ships, word for word, and how to restore one you edited

These are the skills Glood ships to every organization, copied exactly as Glood
has them. Use them to restore a skill you edited, or as the starting point for
one of your own.

> [!NOTE]
>
> These copies match the skill library in the Glood platform as of 30 October 2026
> (revision `2135694e`).

| Skill | Slug | Who gets it |
| - | - | - |
| [Tracing a metric that moved](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/skills-library/rca.md) | `rca` | Every agent |
| [Querying store data](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/skills-library/query-language.md) | `query-language` | Every agent |
| [What to do with a fraud assessment](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/skills-library/fraud-policy.md) | `fraud-policy` | Every agent |
| [Tracing a store problem the monitor detected](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/skills-library/store-monitor.md) | `store-monitor` | Agents made from the Store monitor template, and any agent you attach it to |

Each skill's page gives every field of the skill editor (**Title**, **Slug**,
**Use when** and **Body**) in its own block with a copy button. The body is in a
code block so that copying it keeps every character.

## Restore a default skill

When you edit one of Glood's skills, your organization gets its own copy, marked
**Customised**, and your agents use that copy from then on. Glood's later updates
to the skill do not reach your copy and never overwrite it. See
[Edit a Glood skill](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/agents/skills.md#edit-a-glood-skill).

There are two ways back.

### Reset to Glood's version

The usual choice: your agents go back to Glood's skill, and get Glood's updates
again.

**1. Open the skill**

**Agents → Skills**, and open the skill marked **Customised**.

**2. Reset**

Open the actions menu (**...**) and choose **Reset to Glood version**, then
confirm.

Your copy is archived and every agent that uses the skill loads Glood's current
version on its next run. Your edits stay in the history.

### Paste the default text into your copy

For when you want to keep your own copy, for example to edit it again from a
clean start. Your copy stays **Customised**, so Glood's later updates still do
not reach it.

**1. Open your copy**

**Agents → Skills**, and open the skill marked **Customised**.

**2. Copy the default**

Open the skill's page in this library.

**3. Replace each field**

Paste **Title** and **Use when** over the fields of the same name. For the
body, make sure the editor shows **Markdown** (it opens on it), select
everything in **Body**, and paste. Pasting into **Rich** can tidy list
markers and blank lines, so the text would no longer match exactly.

**4. Save**

Save with the save bar at the bottom of the screen.

The slug cannot be changed on an existing skill, and does not need to be: your
copy already has Glood's slug.

## Start your own skill from a default

**Agents → Skills → New skill**, paste the blocks, and give it a slug of its own
so it sits beside Glood's skill rather than replacing it. Then attach it to the
agents that need it. See [Write your own skill](https://docs.glood.ai/platform/agents/skills.md#write-your-own-skill).
