The Glood dashboard is where you connect your stores, read their reports, see what Glood noticed, and run agents that watch them for you. This page takes you from a new account to a connected store.

Create your account

1

Choose Create an account on the sign-in screen and enter your full name, work email and a password of at least 8 characters. Or use Continue with Google.
2

Verify your email

Open the link we email you. Almost everything in the dashboard waits for a verified address, so do this first. Lost the email? Account settings → Profile → Resend link.
3

Turn on two-factor

Account settings → Security → Two-factor authentication → Enable, then scan the code with any authenticator app. Save the backup codes it shows you: it shows them once.
No password? Email me a sign-in link on the sign-in screen sends a link that signs you in. It works once and lasts 10 minutes.

Create your organization

An organization holds your stores, your team and your data. Everything else in the dashboard belongs to one.
1

Identity

Your organization’s name, and a logo if you want one (PNG, JPG, WEBP, GIF or AVIF, up to 5MB). The name becomes its address. If that address is taken, a short suffix is added.
2

Locale

Country, city, currency and time zone.
3

Review

Check both steps, edit either one, then Create organization.
Invited by someone instead? Open the link in the invitation email and choose Accept invitation. Sign up with the address the invitation was sent to.

Connect a Shopify store

Glood connects to your store through a custom app that you own and create in the Shopify dev dashboard. It takes a few minutes, once. Go to Stores → Connect a store. The wizard has five steps.
1

Platform

Choose Shopify.
2

Store

Your store’s .myshopify.com address, or paste the URL from your Shopify admin. This is fixed once the store is connected: to change it, remove the store and connect it again.
3

Apps

Enable the Glood apps this store runs, Glood Search or Glood.AI Personalization. An app must already be installed on the Shopify store to be enabled here.Want only the apps for now? Skip for now finishes here and you can add the Shopify credentials later.
4

URLs

Create an app in the Shopify dev dashboard and paste the values the wizard shows into its configuration:
  • App URL
  • Allowed redirection URL. It must match character for character, or Shopify refuses to authorize the app.
  • Webhook URL
  • Access scopes. Paste the whole list. All are read-only except write_orders, which lets Glood tag risky orders and add a risk assessment.
In the same app, request protected customer data access at Level 2. Shopify’s analytics refuses to answer without it, even when the scopes are right.
5

Credentials

Copy the Client ID and Client secret from the app’s client credentials and paste them here. Then Connect store, and approve the scopes when Shopify asks.
Use the Shopify dev dashboard, not the Develop apps screen in your store admin. That screen has nowhere to put a redirect URL, so the connection cannot complete. How do I set this up? in the wizard walks through each screen.
Shopify shows the client secret once. If you lose it before finishing, generate a new one and use that. Once connected, data can take a few minutes to appear.

Set up storefront events

Optional, and worth it. The Glood pixel lets agents see what shoppers did on your storefront before they ordered, and the fraud agent’s order checks read it. Open the store, then Settings → Storefront events → Set up, and follow the steps: copy your pixel code, add a custom pixel named Glood under Settings → Customer events in your Shopify admin, set customer privacy, paste the code and connect it. Check connection confirms Glood is receiving events. Your Shopify staff account needs the “Manage and add custom pixels” permission.

What your plan includes

Three areas depend on your plan: Reports, Insights and Agents. An area your plan does not include still shows in the navigation, with a lock. Open it and choose Email support, and we will switch it on for you.
